December is on the horizon and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in D.C. Today, I decided to make my way to the Downtown Holiday Market to keep with the holiday cheer and check out some winter themed festivities.
For those interested, the market will be open daily until 12/23/21 (closed on 12/6) with hours of operation between 12:00pm-8pm. The location stretches across 7th-9th streets NW and F street NW.
There are 70 exhibitors, food and drink vendors, and live music to enjoy during normal business hours.
The market features enticing food vendors that sell popular holiday delights like warm donuts, cream filled churros, European chocolates, and more!
Visitors are able to stop by exhibits that sell everything from art related items, clothing, crafts, jewelry, and specialty items.
The music acts are conducted from local artists who span across genres such as rock, blues, soul, jazz, and more.
Washington, D.C. is never short of events, but the Downtown Holiday Market is a great way to support local business owners and talent.
So be sure to stop by if you will be in town between now and December 23rd.
Happy Holidays!
