I’ve had a strong appreciation for the arts for as long as I can remember so visiting the National Museum of Women in the Arts in D.C. was a must. The museum is one of the few that are currently open in D.C. during covid, and strict safety measures are in places without hindering the experience.

My visit to the Museum of the Bible was filled with enhanced imagery, interactive storytelling, history, and loads of immersive exhibitions.

The museum has six floors and is one of the few museums open in D.C. during covid. The establishment has many safety protocols in place allowing its guests to view the exhibits safely while enjoying the overall experience.

I fully enjoyed my recent trip to The Wharf in Washington, D.C. The location is filled with plenty of contemporary architecture and also hosts a fish market area that was built in the early 1800’s! Spending time at The Wharf reminded me a lot of South Street Seaport in Manhattan with its admirable seaside location, glass office buildings, and tasty eateries.

Theodore Roosevelt Island is a small nature retreat that that can be accessed on foot from both Washington, D.C., and Rosslyn, Virginia. The island sits on the Potomac River with two connecting bridges to support foot tracking from both east and west.
Upon arrival, there is map posted for visitors interested in hiking Theodore Roosevelt Island while exploring what the 88.5-acres has to offer.
