I was so happy to finally have the chance to visit the new butterfly garden at Roers Zoofari in Vienna, VA with my family this weekend.

Walking into the Wings of Wonder exhibit and witnessing hundreds of butterflies in various shapes and sizes soaring about was both euphoric and surreal.

Historical landmarks are abundant here in Georgetown with Tudor Place firmly impressed amongst the top for its timeless aesthetic and distinction. From the outside, Tudor Place looks like a home situated in a large park as it sits on 5.5 acres of large trees, gardens, and grass for as far as the eye can see.

This weekend, I decided to visit the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian to kick off summer here in Washington, D.C.

Upon arrival, I was impressed by the beautiful landscape of floral arrangements and cascading waterfall which all play homage to Native American culture.
